Thermo-auricular therapy (ear candles) has been used in Asia, North and South America for centuries. It was introduced to Europe from the Hopi Pueblo, a tribe of North American Indians.

The Hopi are an ancient and spiritual people who possess a deep knowledge of herbs and medicinal plants. The same ancient method is used today to make the candles by steeping untreated cotton in extracts of honey, beeswax, sage oil and chamomile. Each candle contains a filter for safety.

Thermo-auricular therapy is a gentle and effective way of helping to relieve sinusitis, rhinitis, glue ear, headaches, compacted wax, migrane, mild hearing loss due to excessive wax and many symptoms associated with stress.

However it is not recommended that Hopi candles are used if you have any ear infections, perforated ear drums or have recently had grommits fitted. If in doubt do consult your doctor or therapist who will be able to advise you.
